It’s a new year! As the holiday season wraps up, I’m focusing on the following projects.

As a pianist:

  • Practicing for my upcoming concerts

  • Planning out the details of next year’s concert season, including the music of Brahms

  • Producing the fifth annual season of the Piedmont Chamber Music Festival. Join us for a spectacular season, Bay Area friends!

As an educator:

  • Gearing up to teach another semester of piano lessons and music theory at Augustana College

  • Tutoring kids of all ages in test prep, academic subjects, and writing (contact me if you know a student who could use help)

As a human being:

  • Blogging

  • Volunteering as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for abused and neglected children in the area

  • Volunteering for the Pete for America campaign leading up to the Iowa caucuses

  • Leading a small working group to support people working on launching websites, which cover topics from food to crafts to music to writing

  • Learning about website design

  • Reading

(this is a now page, inspired by Derek Sivers).
